An Ongoing History Publication, NJ Studies is Hosted by Rutgers University Libraries

The New Jersey Historical Commission and Rutgers University Libraries, in partnership with Monmouth University, launched a new journal in June 2015 to publish the most recent scholarship and educational materials about New Jersey’s history and other subjects.

New Jersey Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal (New Jersey Studies) is available free of charge via Rutgers University Libraries. New Jersey Studies is published twice annually (Winter/Summer Editions). Contents include, but are not limited to, peer-reviewed history articles, invited talks, featured archival documents and artifacts, teachers’ guides, book and exhibit reviews, and more. New Jersey Studies also publishes select New Jersey Studies Academic Alliance award-winning student papers.

Author guidelines are available at the URL above. Queries may also be made, and articles submitted, directly to the editor, Melissa Ziobro, at mziobro@monmouth.edu. Queries related to book reviews can go directly to our reviews editor, Dr. Jonathan Mercantini, at jmercantini.kean@gmail.com.
