Register today for the NJ Women Vote’s Virtual Women’s Equality Day Celebration!
August 26, 2020, Women’s Equality Day, will mark 100 years since the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. NJ Women Vote will commemorate this significant anniversary by inviting New Jerseyans of all ages to celebrate the women who have led and continue to lead our state government.
The Women’s Equality Day celebration, co-sponsored by the New Jersey Division on Women (a division of the Department of Children and Families) and hosted virtually by Thomas Edison State University, will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. via Zoom. The virtual event will feature a special panel of women in NJ state government and performances inspired by the history of women’s suffrage.
Through the Women’s Equality Day celebration, we hope to not only feature and learn from leaders in our state, but to inspire the next generation of civically engaged women. Register, free of charge, today: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_TpuzWzARQW2R0hasmNPZzw.
