April 7 at 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

In advance of Elaine Weiss’s April 21 talk at Princeton Public Library library, we will discuss her book “The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote.”

Weiss’s book is an account of the 1920 ratification of the constitutional amendment that granted voting rights to women. It traces the culmination of seven decades of legal battles and cites the pivotal contributions of famous suffragists and political leaders.

Presented in partnership with Princeton Public Library and the Historical Society of Princeton.
